Paris

Paris was another lay over trip. This time while returning from the US to Poland. I visited all the famous spots.

The Eiffel Tower:

Fountains and parks like this one are what I had expected from Paris, but without the enormous crowds, the pollution, and the noise!



Overall, Paris is definitely not on my top list of places to visit in Europe.

I think the best thing I saw in Paris was a photography exhibit. Most of the photos were taken from an airplane and give a very different and sometimes amazing perspective than what is seen from the ground. My favorite showed a group of camels crossing a desert in Africa. In the photo, the shadows are much larger than the animals, seeming to give the shadows more life than the camels themselves.
